EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, an international company operating in the Oil & Gas industry, is currently recruiting a Waste Coordinator based in Berat.

Major responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily waste segregation, handling, storage, collection and removal across operational sites and approved treatment or disposal facilities;

• Plan and coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste movements with Logistics, Wells, site teams, contractors and transport providers;

• Ensure proper waste packaging, labelling, loading and transportation in compliance with environmental and HSSE requirements;

• Coordinate waste contractors, verifying vehicle, personnel, equipment, site access and receiving-facility readiness;

• Maintain accurate waste inventories, movement records, Waste Transfer Notes and disposal documentation to ensure full traceability;

• Monitor waste quantities, movements and contractor performance, reporting delays, non-compliance and operational risks;

• Participate in site inspections, waste audits, toolbox talks and improvement initiatives, maintaining a strong field presence.

• Verify waste quantities and reconcile inventory records against weighbridge tickets, contractor records and receiving-facility documentation;

• Support site inspections and contractor compliance checks, identifying deviations and escalating corrective actions to the Environmental & Waste Lead;

• Provide practical guidance and support waste management training for site personnel to improve segregation, safe handling and compliance.

Requirements for this position are:

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Logistics, Industrial Operations or a related field is an advantage;

• Practical experience in waste management, field logistics, contractor coordination or similar operational activities;

• Knowledge of hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, segregation, storage, transport and relevant environmental requirements;

• Experience with waste tracking, inventories, transfer documentation and accurate operational record keeping;

• Strong organizational, coordination and communication skills, with a hands-on, safety-focused approach;

• Must reside in Berat, Kuçovë or nearby surrounding areas and be available for regular work at operational sites.

Employment Details:

• Location: Berat, Albania (candidates must reside in Berat, Kuçovë or nearby areas)

• Contract: 1-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension for an additional year

• Working Schedule: Full-time, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
