BANQUET MANAGER 

Mission: Organise gala dinners, weddings and other large events at the hotel to offer guests a unique experience. 

 What will you have to do?

Ø  Seek to achieve the goals set by the department, based on cost-saving and competitiveness measures to reach the budget set by the company.

Ø Dedication and commitment to exceed customer and company expectations.

Ø  Coordinate with the F&B Management, seeking together a greater projection and dissemination of our goods and services through advertising media.

Ø  To supervise and oversee that all services are provided in accordance with the contract, following the hotel's quality standards and policies.

Ø  Supervise menu tests.

Ø  Keeping the client portfolio up to date.

Ø  Supervise and control all budgets and reservations.

Ø  Discounts and courtesies at will to capture the best business.

Ø  Preparation of monthly and weekly event reports and forecasts.

Ø  Handling of difficult situations, always looking for the broad customer satisfaction, defending the interests of the company.

Ø  Extensive and clear coordination with all departments involved in the organisation of events at the hotel.

Ø  Execute all instructions and work assigned to them by their immediate superior, as well as any responsibilities that their position requires.

What are we looking for?

·  Higher degree and/or university degree, preferably Tourism or Hospitality, or similar.

·         Good knowledge of English. A third language will be highly valuable.

·         Knowledge of the latest waiting trends.

·         Knowledge of different types of set ups and services

·         Knowledge of hygienic food handling.

·         Knowledge/management of Opera would be an asset

·         Advanced command of the Office 365 package

·         Knowledge of hotel operations.

·  Organisation, planning, analytical capacity, ability to influence, leadership.

·         Creativity and innovation.

·         At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in the sector.
